STEVEN BARRY

Steven Barry has been fascinated by sound ever since he heard music coming from a flat, spinning, black pancake-looking thing when he was 2 years old. He actually pioneered the art of scratching records at age 3, long before the likes of GrandMaster Flash and other modern DJ's. From that early start, Steven followed his destiny and eventually became a producer, studio owner and live sound engineer for a wide range of artists, including Patty Griffin and Martin Sexton. He most enjoys recording in exotic, on-location situations that bring out the best in the artists.
